Ezra's 1st day of school!!!

Ezra has been so excited to go to 'Chloe's' school and today he finally got to go! Chloe was very excited to escort him into his classroom and introduce him as her brother. It was chaos in the classroom with 16 (almost) 3 year olds with their mom's and dad's (and siblings!) trying to take pictures and give hugs. Although it was a happy chaos at first, it quickly turned to screaming and crying as parent said goodbye. Ezra cried too and it broke my heart and Bran and I decided right then and there that he wasn't ready. But not even a minute later, he was smiling and painting a picture!!! When we picked him up he was so proud of all his crafts and told us all about playing in the sandbox and how he liked his teachers. Way to go Ez!!! xoxox

Summer in the beautiful dress Camilla got her
Santa Monica Beach

dress-up

Ezra has always loved playing dress up with Chloe, however, until recently, he only had Chloe's princess dresses to play in. A few months ago he borrowed a friends Superman costume and literally wore it everyday. My mum finally bought him his own Superman AND Batman costume and he absolutely lives in them. Chloe loves when I paint her face like a cat or make her a 'princess sparkle fairy', which is her request of a heart on one side of her face, a flower on the other side and lipstick and eyeshadow. She also loves the elephant suit Grandma sent her.

Make-shift movie theater

After a day of shopping, craft making (which included a lot of glue on the wooden table) and swimming, we all needed a rest. Bran made Chloe and Ezra a little movie theater/tent and they have been happily watching Toy Story and snacking on popcorn ever since. Thanks to Bran's creation, we have all enjoyed some much needed peace and quiet!

Life goes on...

My world has been a bit of a blur in which all I really do is breastfeed Summer, hold Summer, wake up at all hours of the night with Summer, bathe Summer, stare at Summer and so on. This past week, I made a huge effort to force myself back into somewhat of a more normal/balanced life. We had a fun week - went to ride the horses at Griffith Park and ride the train. Of course I had my Mum with me and she watched Chloe and Ezra while I fed Summer- but at least I was there!!! We all went to Dave's for a pool day which is always fun AND - Ezra learned to swim on his own!!! Just 2 1/2 years old and he can swim. I am very proud. Both Chloe and Ezra are a little nutty though. They jumped off the bridge (which is probably 8 feet above the water) into the pool and swam to the side of the pool all by themselves! Chloe had a princess party to go to and I must say she looked beautiful all dressed up. Era is still wearing the superman costume daily and still wears a paper towel cape at church in the absence of his costume. He is in a REALy adorable stage where everything he does is cute- (except his abnormally LOUD voice when Summer is asleep). I have to say that baby #3 is proving to be the easiest transition yet, but I'll get back to you when my mum is gone in 3 weeks and I'll let you know if I still feel the same way when I am on my own:)

WHAT WOULD I DO WITHOUT MY MOTHER???

EZRA WAS A TROOPER AND RODE THE HORSE BUT HE WASN'T SO SURE ABOUT IT.
YOU CAN DO IT CHLOE!
YAY CHLOE!
This is the bridge my little 2 and 4 year olds jumped off!!!

Princess Party Chloe
Summer's not so sure about the bath yet...
